Your address is the one thing that should not be on your website.
You travel to the signer, so you are a service-area business, and that changes how the site and the Google listing have to be built. Publish a home address and you pin yourself to one street instead of the county you actually cover, and you invite strangers to your door.
The service-area business setup, done properly
Most mobile notaries are set up wrong in one of two directions, and both cost work.
Wrong direction one: the address is everywhere
Home address in the footer, in the schema, on the contact page and on the Google listing. It ties your visibility to one residential street rather than to the region you serve, and it publishes where you and your family live to anybody who looks. We build these sites with the address in exactly one place: the private verification you give Google.
Wrong direction two: calling yourself remote
The instinct is to say "remote" or "online only" to avoid publishing an address. That answer removes you from Google Business Profile altogether, which removes you from the map pack, which is where most mobile notary calls originate. Service-area business is the classification that lets you hide the address and keep the listing.
Get this right and you appear across every city you travel to. Get it wrong and you are either invisible or exposed, and neither is recoverable with more content.
Two customers, two pages
The title company and signing service
Commercial, repeat, and the better half of the business. They are checking certification, errors-and-omissions coverage, background screening, turnaround and whether you can take a same-day assignment. That is a page of documentation, written to be forwarded internally.
The individual with one document
Urgent, one-off, price-aware, and usually needs it today. They want to know you travel to them, roughly what it costs, and that somebody will actually pick up. That is a page of reassurance and a phone number, and it converts on speed.
The hospital, the jail, the closing table
The situations people search by name when they are stressed. Each is worth naming on the site, because it is what they type, and because saying it out loud tells them you have done this before.
And the after-hours call
Signings land in the evening and at weekends. An AI agent answers, takes the document type, the address and the time, and books it, so the call you take while driving is not lost.

Questions from notaries
I work out of my home. Should my address be on the site?
No, and this is the detail that matters most in this trade. You are a service-area business: you travel to the signer. Publishing a home address invites strangers to it and pins your Google rankings to one street instead of to the region you actually cover. We build the site with the service area stated and no street address anywhere in the page, the schema or the footer.
Does that mean I cannot have a Google Business Profile?
You can, and you need one. This is where people get badly advised. Describing yourself as remote or online-only would disqualify you from a Google Business Profile entirely, and the profile is the single largest source of mobile notary work. Service-area business is the correct classification: you verify an address privately with Google, hide it from the public listing, and set the counties or cities you travel to. That is the only path, and getting it wrong costs you the map pack.
Loan signings and general notary work are different jobs. Same site?
Same site, different pages. A title company or a signing service is a repeat commercial client checking your certifications, your errors-and-omissions coverage and whether you can handle a same-day assignment. A homeowner needing one document witnessed is a one-off, urgent, price-aware call. Writing one page for both gets you neither.
How fast do people expect a callback?
Fast enough that the phone is the whole business. Notary work is almost always needed today or tomorrow, and the first person to answer usually gets it. An AI agent answers every call, takes the document type, the address and the time, and books it, which matters because you are frequently driving or mid-signing when the phone rings.
Can you show me a mobile notary site you have built?
