Selected work
The archive.
Campaign, restaurant and packaging work shot over two decades, for brands that were spending real money and needed the picture to carry it. Grouped by what you would actually be hiring it for, with the on-set footage at the bottom. Every frame here is Allen's.

Food and drink
Food that reads across a table, a menu board and a phone.
Restaurant groups, coffee, packaged food and the styling work that sits behind all of it. A plate photographs nothing like it looks in the room, which is the whole job.

Product and packaging
Labels straight, reflections controlled, liquid cold.
Studio work where a millimetre of misalignment on a label shows up at full size. Packshots, campaign heroes, out of home and range consistency.

People and campaign
People who look like themselves.
Growers, baristas, crews, talent and the campaign work built around them. Shot on location, in real light, with enough time for people to stop performing.

Place and architecture
Rooms, streets and the places the work happens.
Retail interiors, travel and architectural work. Straight verticals, corrected colour, windows that are not blown out.

On set
Not every job is a national campaign.
These are the last three shoots: a tool shop, a restaurant kitchen and an interview in a designer's own office. Lights, stands and a field monitor, in somebody's actual place of business. Nothing here is stock footage of a film crew.
Brands in the archive
Already run at national scale.
